In the Fall of 2006 the Town ordered a custom 100-foot mid-mount aerial platform to be manufactured by American La France (demonstration model pictured). The truck will carry 300 gallons of water and have the capacity to pump 2,000 gallons per minute from two nozzles mounted on the platform. Delivery is anticipated in June 2008. |
