Interested In Joining Our Team?

We are always looking for new members.  There are many opportunities where you could lend your expertise to help our Department.  We meet every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m., at Fire Headquarters, 1175 Ellington Road.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Citizen or legal resident of the U.S.

  • Resident of South Windsor

  • Valid motor vehicle driver's license

  • Motor vehicle driver's history report

  • Pass physical examination

  • Pass drug screening

  • Pass background check

Flashover Simulator - Connecticut Fire Academy

Under 18?  Consider joining our Explorer Post.  Explorers assist the line firefighters on many calls and it's a great way to learn more about the fire service and what our Department is all about.  The Explorers meet every Monday at 7:00 P.M.
